Metamask is undoubtedly the most popular hot wallet. It has more than 21 million monthly active users. To get the wallet working, you need to install a browser plugin or app on your smartphone. After installation, it's required to set-up the tool with a private key and seed phrase. Easy for people that are interested in Web3, but less convenient for the average internet user.
